About Renee

Renee was a beautiful soul who brought joy and inspiration to everyone she met. She lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with love and kindness. This website is dedicated to preserving her memory and sharing the impact she had on our lives.

A special bond - Mario (grandson) and Renee were extremely close.

She loved the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum - we would go there several times a year. This is one of my favorite pictures of her just enjoying the fall decorations.

Renee had a funny streak - everything could be funny. She challenged people to lighten up all the time.

One of the best Halloween pictures - Mario with his grandmother (that's not really a bear!)

Out on one of our many "Walk and Rolls" wearing her favorite scarf (which she knitted).

She loved her clothes and jewelry - I'm not sure I ever saw her wear the same thing twice (hmmm....)

She says that when she said "I do" the migraine she had been carrying with her as a struggling single mom just melted away.

She was always smiling! This was on one of our many nights out together.

I love how she looks right at the camera - I feel like she's looking inside of me.

Classy

She loved to get out in nature and go exploring. She also loved lighthouses. This is Split Rock Lighthouse up north of Duluth, MN.

We first met at Steak & Ale in Sarasota, Florida. I was her boss and she was the best waitress I ever had. (When I wasn't working there anymore, we kind of asked each other out).

One of my all-time favorites - the lady in red.

Quintessential Renee

Renee's infectious laughter and compassionate heart will forever be etched in our memories. She was a true blessing in my life and everyone around her. She was always smiling and always conveying how much she loved the people in her life.
